Bionix! The new weapon of Mind Control Records!
One of the most productive artist of the year is realizing here its first album as a solo project. You enjoyed XSI first album on Mind control records? Then you were surprised by 'XSI and friends'? And then you loved the 'Talamasca Vs XSI' album There was one man behind those three killer albums of the year 2009! And he's got a name now, Bionix! Get ready for the latest Mind Control release!
Jean-Marc Segondy was just seven years old when he started playing around with his first synthesiser, but by the time he was fifteen he was already composing songs in various styles of music. After trying many genres of electronic music including house and techno, he began to play trance at some parties in Paris as DJ Bio, becoming resident at the Gibus Club an infamous club in the Parisian underground scene where the likes of Daft Punk and Bob Sinclar also cut their teeth and where he met Barthalamy Bayona aka DJ Spawn.
After playing together for a year, they decided to make a trance project together called XSI.
The first XSI album was very successful, leading to bookings at some of the biggest international trance events such as XXXperience in Brazil, Arcadia in Japan and Freedom Festival in Portugal. They've also played in a number of other countries including Mexico, Switzerland, Germany, India, Serbia and Russia. Currently very busy in the studio, Jean-Marc spent all the year 2009 to produce 3 albums. The two first ones are now released, one on phantasm as 'XSI and Friends' and another one in collaboration (on Parabola Records) with Talamasca called 'One': Talamasca Vs XSI.
Jean Marc is now releasing his most achieve work, his first solo project Bionix.
As a solo project, he can now totally express himself and explore new musical horizons always dancefloor orientated, but in a tougher style suited to night time sets. |

Finally the long awaited debut album by Progenitor is finnished.
Progenitor is Marios Seraidaris and Nikos Karamalakis. The duo from Greece first met in 2003 when they both made their first steps in electronic music production. One year later they decided to produce a track together. The result of their first cooperation encouraged them to constantly create the progressive trance project called Progenitor.
Their different experiences in electronic music were melted into one and the result is a deep and melodic groove surrounded by fat, crisp and atmosperic sounds.Until today Progenitor's discography includes releases at leading labels like: Y.S.E., Plusquam, Headstick, Blue Tunes Recordings, Aphonix and many more. Progenitor's debut album 'Electro bite' is an essential ingredient for any party and can already be counted as one of the the most important releases of the year 2010 |

INTERSYS |
Utopia Records and InterSys Music proudly presents 'Music in 3D' (including 3D-Glasses)...
..InterSys's highly anticipated second album. After reviving raves with a debut album packed with dance floor hits, this talented duo did it again. 'Music in 3D' is the reformation of psy fullon music. It successfully combines elements from the psychedelic experience, electro grooves, breakbeat stomps, catchy vocals and ambient atmospheres.
This album was fabricated while touring the globe and deeply understanding the growing thirst for innovation coming from the psychedelic nation. InterSys spent all of 2009 creating new tunes and then refining and sifting until this album formed.
And how can you go wrong with tracks like 'Earthquake', remix to Bizzare Contact's 'the Beach', remix to System Niple's 'Absolute Translucent' which are already starring on the live shows. Add to that dance floor killers like the innovative 'Getting Warmer', 'Electro Fever', 'Diving Angels', 'No Music No Life', 'Internal Kombustion' and 'Simply Life' and wrap it up with 2 down tempo tracks like 'Reforced' and 'Free Falls'.
In this album, in addition to the vocals by Ella Doron and Moshe Maman, InterSys have used the vocal talents of Yan Lubin and Erik Forman. All to create a versatile rainbow of colors in the vocal palette. As a result you get 11 tracks which integrate into a story never told before called 'Music in 3D'.
This album is not only an ear candy but also an eye catcher, as it includes real 3D cover art and inlay that can only be seen using the 3D glasses - given free with every CD you buy! |
